Welcome
to the only dance studio whose director is listed in the dance archives
in Washington, DC as a national treasure, as a part of the Judy Garland
Television Shows. Also, this is the only studio with a director with
credentials of dancing in and choreographing for major television shows
as well as performing in the original casts of major Broadway shows. He
also is on staff for many prestigious schools for ballroom and theater
dance in NYC and around the country.
The information in this column covers all the history and credentials,
various policies, schedules and events of the school. If you do not
find what you want here or in the following pages, please call us at

This
dance studio was founded in 1966. The director, Tracy Everitt, directs
programs of dance in NYC and at several local sites. They include
courses in ballroom, Latin, wedding dances, jazz, tap dance and other
forms of dance. He is a New York based professional as well, splitting
his time between New York and Hoboken.
The civic supported Continuing Educational Programs for Adults at
Hoboken High School have him as their chief instructor and there are
numerous well known institutions in Hoboken utilizing his dance
services. UBSPaineWebber, Liz Claiborne, the New York Athletic Club on
58th Street in NYC, and other corporations have employed Mr. Everitt on
sites for their employees. You may see Tracy Everitt perform on
national TV every Christmas Eve on Disney channel, a show which he
choreographed for Judy Garland, entitled the "The Judy Garland
Christmas Show". This is in the National Treasures Archives in
Washington, DC.
If you research Broadway show casts, you will find Tracy Everitt listed
in several original Broadway casts, including such well known hit shows
as "West Side Story", "How to Succeed in Business without Really
Trying", "Bye Bye Birdie", etc. He also has been the teacher and
choreographer for Liza Minnelli and other Hollywood celebrities. We are
sure you will receive the same caring and friendly teaching as his
previous students, no matter what level you are.
You will find local former students whom he has trained to dance (and
also to teach) are the hosts in very popular local bars and taverns
such as "Frankie and Johnny`s", "Wille McBrides", etc.
